Round 2 Saturday 18 and Sunday 19th August 2012.
The Caersws Cup Downhill Series is a British Cycling Regional A Ranking Series.
Regional races are perfect level to race before you move up to the British Downhill Series (BDS) its a great introduction to racing.
You don’t need a British Cycling licence to race our series, but we’d recommend you look at the benefits of British Cycling membership.
Saturday Slalom race on Saturday night to raise funds for Jason Brennan only £10.
The format is practice with Uplift on Saturday and 2 hours extra practice on Sunday morning followed by racing on Sunday with 2 race runs using the new foam padded trailers to look after your bike to get you to the top of the hill.
Each race is limited to 300 riders and entries will strictly be on a first come, first served basis.
Please enter here as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
British Cycling Ranking points for all BC license holders but you don’t need a license to race.
If you see the “Supported by British Cycling” button on an event, you can rest assured that it is insured and backed by the governing body of the sport in Great Britain.

Venue
Caersws is the best DH venue in the UK for the choice of tracks to ride and the uplift service in renowned as the best any where in the country.Ian Jones always work very hard to get the tracks into the best condition with constant work being done to improve every year.
The tunnel in now under the uplift road which opens up 4 courses to choose from.
Camping is Free all weekend from Friday afternoon.

NOTE** DOWNHILL EVENT:
- Full Face Helmets and Bike Bar End Plugs are compulsory.
- Also In line with BC guidelines, it is strongly recommended that competitors should wear Full Body Armour.
For Participants
Events will have complied with the Technical Regulations of the relevant branch of the sport, including provision of liability insurance. Organisers will themselves be members of British Cycling and therefore have to comply with the organisation’s rules and regulations, including equity, equality, disciplinary guidelines and safeguarding children requirements.
