Four cross information

Four Moto’s

A moto is one race, you get four races against different riders which are mixed together by the computer software.

Moto points are:

1^st = 4pts

2^nd = 3pts

3^rd = 2pts

4^th = 1pt

The total number of points decides if you go through to the next round of racing.

Run Offs

There may be run offs which is when two or more riders have the same amount of points, so you will have another run off moto against the other riders.
You will be told how many will go through to next round at the start.

Quarter & Semi finals

This depends on the number of riders in a category for quarter finals there needs to be 32 people in a category.

In Quarter finals you need to finish in the top two in you race to make it into the Semi Final.

Semi Finals you need at least 13 people to make a semi final. In the semi finals

32 riders lose 16 riders

¼ = 16 riders lose 8 riders

Semi = 8 riders

Final A 4 riders

B 4 riders

Moto Points

The Moto Points are added to the final position points.

1^st 30

2^nd` 28

3^rd 26

4^th 24

5^th 18

6^th 15

7^th 12

8^th 10

Maximum points score is 50 points

Which is 4 moto wins = 16 points

Then winning final = 34 points

Total 50.

If you win three motos and are last in one = 13 points

Then you win the race = 34

Total = 47 points.
