Rd1 Uk Bike Park April 4th 2010
NPS 4X Dates — By Chris Roberts on February 6, 2010 at 10:20 pm
The 2010 National series kicks off down in Dorset on Sunday 4th April.
The track has seen a major re-vamp over the winter to make racing even better and more opportunity to overtake and a whole lot more fun to race.
The Track
The surface at UK BP is quite a hard and stony surface more like a world cup surface of any of the tracks we visit this year.
Superlight tyres and tubes are the not best combination on this track.
The very long first straight has been cut in half with a new couple of corners added to make closer racing. Changes further down the course include an inside roller added to the big berm first corner to stop the T-bones of last year, following this the next corner has two huge berms added and the mogul section has been bulldozed and some nice new tables and double added before the final last couple of corners and the finish line
